the things we cannot see and cannot hear; are they real?
i have a project for English II. basically, it's simply to keep a writer's notebook. not quite like a diary, but more about stuff that inspires us, i guess. i'm not quite sure why my teacher insists that i do this, but she is set in her ways, and not about to budge. it's a class project, but i feel like it's geared towards people like me -- the ones who would actually benefit from it. the one's who probably need it. i keep telling myself that i'm just going to bullshit the whole thing, and make my life sound absolutely perfect; only write about the good things. but my subconscience is telling me that i probably need to do this; just like i need to blog every now and then.
dre and i hung out last night. we rode our bikes up to this chinese restaurant Top Wok at about 7:30. in my opinion? it's the best chinese food i've had, ever, anywhere. i would honestly rather go to Top Wok and eat, than go to some fancy restaurant any day of the week. the guy, Ken, who works at Top Work knows my dad. he always smiles at me like he recognizes me from somewhere, but isn't quite sure where, when i come in to get food. and the lady who works there, i don't know her name, but she looks like the lady on the Top Wok calander; but i'm afraid to tell her she's that pretty, because she seems very shy, reserved, and overworked to the point where she probably has stress breakdowns at night. it's weird how i analyze people sometimes. but anyhow, dre and i rode about 8-10 miles round-trip to get chinese food. it was definitely worth the trip, if you ask me. then we went and bought Jujubes, and threw them at each other because i didn't like them. they're too hard and get stuck in your teeth. we rode by the mini-golf place and dre yelled to all the people playing mini-golf, "this girl is too afraid to play mini-golf, because she knows she's gonna LOOOOOSSSEEE!", while i laughed my ass off and accidentally rode my bike into the grass. then we went to some beach stores, which made us feel really tacky; because beach stores are for the tourists, and we live here. so afterwards, we went to the park by the lake and swang on the swings together. i tried to push him on the swings, but when he started swinging decently, i was too short to push him and had to jump to push him. it was ridic ): but anyways. afterwards, we went to this gas station and got fruit punch, and the lady who worked at the gas station knew who Dre was, because he goes there to buy energy drinks all the time. i don't know why, but i found that hilarious; no gas station clerk has ever known me on a first name basis -- only the funny arabic guy who worked at quiznos. but, he didn't know my name, but he knew my face, and order, by heart. it was cute. but yeah, anyways. we got home about 9:30 or 10. i'm sure my mom would have thrown a fit if she knew that i was out that late just riding around town, because of all the tourists here this weekend, but. i don't really care, i had fun.
ryan made a new blog. i was really excited when i saw the link, because i love when ry makes blogs. he writes in a very simplistic, yet elegant, form. and he always posts song lyrics, to songs that capture my heart. like, "never let you go" by 3EB. totally 90's, full of memories. i love that song with a passion.
i miss ry. i need to call him again soon, because i miss hearing his voice. he is silly, cute, and simplistic. very child like, yet elegant. i like ryan.
clyde says she records and analyzes my life. for some reason, that intrigues me. i want to talk to clyde and see what she thinks about my life.
well, that's all i can think of, for the moment.
let me know you read this? let me know i haven't reached the brink of insanity.
